Skanska, a world wide construction company, turned to AquaTeq with a different problem. Skanska cleans culverts under the railway embankments for the Swedish rail traffic authority, Banverket. Earlier the task has been performed with equipment mounted on railway wagons, resulting in disturbances of the train traffic.

Skanska was now looking for a different kind of jetting vehicle giving them flexibility without causing unnecessary traffic disturbances. Skanska had good experience working with us and decided to put the project in our hands.

AquaTeq designed a jetting equipment mounted on a forest machine, a forwarder built to make its way across rugged terrain. The water is refilled from the closest stream with the help of a special ejector and a high-pressure pump. The jet effect fills the ten-cubic-metre tank in about six minutes.

The mounted jetting equipment, the water supply equipment together with the flexible forest machine gives Skanska the possibility to freely move around without disturbing the train traffic.
